Japanese via Berlin producer DJ Scotch Egg has just released his new exploration within Indonesian-global bass music by getting some collaborators in the country. Diving into funkot, dangdut, koplo, and massive trend of Javanese' horeg soundsystem, he got legendary funkot/breakcore producer/DJ Terbujur Kaku to execute "Okonomi Funkot"--resulting cultural exchange that's proven effective showing local sounds spectrum that are radical, fast, and authentic.

Hodge is involved in SPE:C's new project, Remixed (Hassan Abou Alam is on the list too!), released this month. Bristol's Club Djembe features new EP by Kaval, with "Nosedive" as my personal favourite. Not to mention Timedance's new release by Yaleesa Hall with Halfway Gone, infusing perfect dosage of driving grooves and earth-shattering low frequencies.
