We'd just aired our special episode of RAMPAK G, a newly-established label from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, rooted in Indonesian rhythms, scaling and instruments, and blending it with global percussion-tribal influences and beyond, to create a rich space for sonic aculturation. Our favourite Mia Koden shared her three-choons package Keep it steppin', which she claimed 'built for dancefloors'. Contemporary-legendary label Night Slugs's just released DJ POLO's two-tracker Currents / Night Waves this mid-May. "Currents" is presented in Gqom styles with dreamy pads over it, a perfect track to open your percs-set.
