I was asked for the second time this year to do an event that highlighted asian artists— a Lunar New Year bar thing & my friend, Karen's¹, opening for her solo-exhibition during AANHPI heritage month.

Both times I felt limited by what seemed ~acceptable~ for each event so I wanted to make a list that included others that were too experimental or too club-y for the moment.

It's hard to confirm people's ethnicity, and luckily I was able to cross-reference my own knowledge with Club Chow's API spreadsheet² on underground electronic music for people who self-identified that I wasn't sure about.

It's not extensive³ by any means, and I didn't research beyond artists that I already was familiar with so it's still very much from my personal collection.
