not meant to be an exhaustive list but ive found myself coming back to these time and time again, they've given me a lot of pleasure and I want to recognise them for that. We live in an age of musical super abundance which makes focusing on pieces with the appropriate level of commitment and attention quite difficult. It's a rare work that not only asks that of you but demands it and when I went back over my year's purchases I felt that all of these had that quality. Now I guess I have to do one on Spotify too ;-)
