Dirk Deafner (Real Name: Dustin Lewis), is a sonic explorer with an insatiable curiosity for various musical genres. His artistic journey has led him to craft unique soundscapes that traverse the realms of Deep House, NuDisco, and Downtempo, yet he refuses to be confined by any one category. Instead, Dirk Deafner (or 'DDeafner for short) seamlessly fuses elements from diverse genres to create his very own sonic tapestry.  

DDeafner thrives on the convergence of different musical influences, resulting in tracks that are both eclectic and captivating. This artistic boldness sets him apart as an innovator in the electronic music scene, consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the genre.  

Currently based in Los Angeles, DDeafner is at the epicenter of one of the world's most dynamic music scenes. He is tirelessly working on a myriad of projects that showcase his dedication to his craft. Whether he's in the studio experimenting with new sounds or commanding the decks at a live event, Dirk's presence in the industry is felt far and wide.

You can currently catch DDeafner sharing his nighttime vibes on his mix show 'The Nightwave Special' on Data Transmission Radio, airing every 1st week of the month Saturday @ 6PM PT/9PM ET, and Sunday 2AM UK. He is also constantly working on a multitude of projects getting ready for release, managing his label 'Hybrid Way Music', and gigging throughout Los Angeles.
