House, Techno and Electronica are part of the musical aesthetics that you will listen to one of the most interesting and sincerely passionate dance sessions of the Central America Underground Scene. Esteban started his musical career at a very young age with keyboard and piano lessons. His passion for electronic music came from the early rave parties back in 1998 in San José Costa Rica. His unique musical approach quickly as a DJ made him one the most recognized figures in Costa Rica, opening the door for residencies in clubs like Vertigo and Antik in the years to come.

Esteban Howell’s versatility as headliner, warm upper or closing DJ, has made him perform alongside World Class Talent such as John Digweed, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Bug, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Aoki, Fatboy Slim, Hernán Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, James Zabiela, James Lavelle (UNKLE), Felix da Housecat, Junkie XL, Nick Warren, Way Out West, Saeed Younan, Sultan, Alex Niggemann, Chymera, Anthony Collins, Alexi Delano, Francesca Lombardo, YouAndMe, Hector (UK), Paul Woolford, Stefan Goldman, Lee Reynolds & Marbs from Desert Hearts, Joel Mull, Camea, DJ Three, Technasia, Sleepy & Boo and -more recently- Robag Wruhme, performing an outstanding Back 2 Back Set to conclude the Full Moon Festival in Nicaragua 2017.

His inspiring sets have been a part of line-ups at Ocaso Festival Tamarindo, Full Moon and Magma Fest Nicaragua, SunJam Honduras, Record Label Late Night Music’s Rescue Beats Panamá, Danzon and Cube Records in Guatemala, as well as clubs like Teatro Amador in Panama and Casa Morelos in Monterrey, Mexico. His passion for music is mixed with his passion for teaching.

In 2008, Esteban Howell opened the first DJ/Production School in Costa Rica called DJLab, supported by Ableton, Arturia, Native Instruments and iZotope. Guest teachers include Ean Golden (DJ Tech Tools), Endo (Native Instruments/iZotope), Jonathan Wyner, Stefan Goldmann (Macro Recordings), Gebrüder Teichmann, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Adam Collins aka Omin:AM (Euphoria Records) and Rich Medina, along with local partners like Dan Freeman and Charly Fariseo. More recently, his Remix of Steve Bug's Chordwalk Empire was chosen to be release by Poker Flat Recordings as part of their 20 Years Remix Contest.
