In 2024 we will announce our top 10 projects. For now here is a long list of a whole load of amazing projects pushing what we consider to be 'funky adjacent' sounds!A couple self imposed rules for the list:Kept it one per an artist. Otherwise you'd be seeing a whole load more projects from the likes of Burna, OMAAR, Motu and Drumheller. Who all released multiple brilliant, best of worthy projects this year! For example Drumheller's Stigmata E.P on Club Djembe is amazing, but we've been a little self indulgent and chose his 2 tracker he released with us (both tracks being absolute bangers in their own right). Or literally every single Garacci singleWe've also chosen projects that are all or vast majority fitting in with the 'funky adjacent' sound. So for example, while one of Calm Stiege's favourite tracks this year was OMAAR - Little Snare, it couldn't be considered as the&nbsp;EARFUL OF WAVS | VOL​.​2 compilation, all be it great, didn't fit the criteria.This site lists bandcamp releases so unfortunately if it aint there (why not?!!?! &gt;:O) it's not on this list.
