Running time - 61:40Slightly overtime this week, but no matter. It's all good, so we can definately enjoy the over indulgence. Starting off the program, is a very gentle piece recently released by Lightsail called 'Neural Landscape'. Information on the background and location of this artist is scant, but the atmosphere created, at least in this track is perfectly suited for its inclusion as part of this week's edition of ambient hour. Released only yesterday (!) on the UK-label Driftworks is a new track from Anne Chris Bakker entitled 'Dønna' taken from an album called 'Thinking an Ocean'. The sound is expansive and hovers in a beautiful haze. Also featured is new music from Melbourne-based Abby Sundborn with the track 'Rework' taken from the forthcoming album 'Holding Pattern' set for release on April 17. The piece features drawn out strings in a drone-like hum. Enjoy these and the rest of the tracks.
